Amphibious bulk liquid transfer system Definition from Government Dictionaries & Glossaries
Hosereel system providing capability to deliver fuel and/or water from ship to shore. System includes 10,000 feet of 6" buoyant hose for fuel, and 10,000 ft of 4" buoyant hose for water. System are deployed on Maritime Prepositioning Squadrons, and are normally used in direct support of maritime pre-positioning force operations. Also called ABLTS. (JP 4-01.6)
