Tabanus
Tabanus is a genus of biting horseflies of the family Tabanidae. Horseflies of this genus are known to be potential vectors of anthrax, worms and trypanosomes. Some species, such as Tabanus bovinus, prefer bovine animals and are less harmful to humans.
