Solaris (1972 film)
Solaris (, Solyaris) is a 1972 Soviet film based on the novel Solaris by Polish author Stanisław Lem. It was directed by acclaimed Soviet director Andrei Tarkovsky. The film is a slow, meditative psychodrama set mostly on a space station. Another film adaption of the book was released in 2002, directed by Steven Soderbergh.
