Lady Pink
Lady Pink (b. Sandra FabaraAmbatoEcuador1964) was raised in Queens, NY.

In 1979 she started writing graffiti and soon was well known as rarely prominent female in the graffiti subculture. While a student at the High School of Art and Design during the day, she was the only female member of an underground graffiti gang at night, painting whole subway cars in dark tunnels and eerie train yards. Pink painted subway trains from the years 1979-1985. She is considered a cult figure in the hip-hop subculture since the release of the motion picture " Wild Style (1982), in which she had a starring role.
