Jacked Up!
Jacked Up! is a segment featured on the halftime show of Monday Night Football on ESPN. The segment is hosted by Tom Jackson. He highlights the five biggest, hardest hits of the week in the NFL. Chris Berman, the host of the show, makes it perfectly clear that no hits that cause an injury or draw a penalty are ever shown. He is complemented with other sportcasters like Michael Irvin & Steve Young . The segment began in the 2004 season and is still running today. Critics argue that the segment glorifies the violent aspects of football which can cause severe injuries.
