Bushy-haired, buck-toothed, bossy and the smartest pupil at Hogwarts; a Gryffindor.
Origin:
Hermione - Means 'eloquence'. Hermione is the feminine form of Hermes, the winged messenger of the Gods. Hermes was also an intermediary between the Gods and Man, and was therefore the God of divine inspiration: of inventiveness, cleverness and imagination; also Hermione was the daughter of Helen of Troy.
