Another confusing computer term. An acronym for Direct Memory Address. There are two types, high and low. These must be assigned on your soundcard for your PC to be able to play audio (.wav) files. DMA's are software selectable so there is no need to change jumpers on your card. Dual DMA capability means the card is full duplex.
