CBT
Acronym for computer-based training, a type of education in which the student learns by executing special training programs on a computer. CBT is especially effective for training people to use computer applications because the CBT program can be integrated with the applications so that students can practice using the application as they learn.
Historically, CBTs growth has been hampered by the enormous resources required: human resources to create a CBT program. and hardware resources needed to run it. However, the increase in PC computing power, and especially the growing prevalence of computers equipped with CD-ROMs, is making CBT a more viable option for corporations and individuals alike. Many PC applications now come with some modest form of CBT, often called a tutorial.
CBT is also called computer-assisted instruction (CAI).

computer-based training (CBT)
Interactive instructional experience between a computer and a learner in which the computer provides the majority of the stimulus and the learner responds, resulting in progress toward increased skills or knowledge. Has a more complicated branching program of mediation and answering than CAI. Now an all-encompassing term used to describe any computer-delivered training including CD-ROM and the World Wide Web. Some people still use the term CBT to refer only to old-time text-only training.

Comic Book Archive file
Comic Book Archive file or ComicBook Reader File is a type of archive file for the purpose of sequential viewing of images, especially comics. Comic Book Archive files consist of a series of image files archived in ZIP, RAR, or more rarely TAR file formats with the filename extension renamed to .cbz, .cbr and .cbt respectively. Advantages of these file formats include a simplified file viewing and maintenance experience. The idea was made popular by the CDisplay image viewer. CBZ/R/T files typically contain PNG or JPEG files. Occasionally GIF, BMP, and TIFF are seen. In many operating systems, the filename extension largely determines which application a file is opened with. By renaming files between the filename extensions, traditional archiving software can be used to create Comic Book Archive files and to extract image files. The first comic produced specifically for this format was Saturn Knight, released in August 2006 by Jim Shelley and Pierre Villeneuve.
