Brahmic family
The Brahmic family is a family of abugidas (writing systems) used in South AsiaSoutheast AsiaTibetMongoliaManchuria, descended from the Brāhmī script of Mauryan India.

The individual abugidas may be called Brahmic scripts or Indic scripts.
