Australian Antarctic Division
The Australian Antarctic Division (AAD) is a division of the Department of the Environment and Water Resources. This is the Australian Government agency which manages Australia's Antarctic and sub-Antarctic stations and territories as part of the Australian Antarctic Program - historically known as the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE). The AAD is based in Kingston, Tasmania, just south of Hobart.
