Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation
APEC, established in November 1989, is an informal grouping of Asia Pacific countries that provides a forum for Ministerial level discussion of a broad range of economic issues. APEC includes the six ASEAN countries (Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand), plus: Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United States. | ||||

Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation
The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is a forum for a group of 21 Pacific Rim countries that represent about 60% of the world's economy to discuss the regional economy, cooperation, trade and investment.(World Bank). The activities, including year-round meetings of the members' ministers, are coordinated by the APEC Secretariat.
