Alexander Ovechkin
Alexander Mikhaylovich Ovechkin (AmE ) (; born September 17, 1985 in Moscow, USSR) is a Russian professional ice hockey left winger for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League. He currently resides in Arlington, Virginia, U.S.. He was the number one pick in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, but due to the 2004-05 NHL lockout only started playing in the 2005-06 NHL season.
