Adult males should be kept one per aquarium, as they tend to fight as ferociously as male bettas. Habitat China-Korea: Moderately decorated with live plants, driftwood and rocks. Breeding The male has the longer fins and deeper body colors. During spawning up to 500 eggs can be produced and are placed in the bubble nest the male has built.
