Overview
The Airedale terrier is known for its playfulness and courage, as well as its love of and patience with children. It can, however, be stubborn and may challenge its owners for dominance in the "pack". It may also be aggressive with other dogs. Obedience training and socialization are highly recommended at an early age. The Airedale is first-class watchdog, wary of strangers at first but ready to befriend them if encouraged by its owners.

Airedale terrier
The Airedale Terrier (often shortened to "Airedale") is a terrier dog breed originating from Airedale in YorkshireEngland. It is sometimes called the "King of Terriers" because it is the largest of the terrier breeds, 50 to 100 pounds (23-45 kg). The breed has also been called the Waterside Terrier, because it was bred originally to hunt otters.
