Air Mobility Command
Air Mobility Command (AMC) is a major command (MAJCOM) of the United States Air Force. AMC is one of ten major commands (MAJCOMs), reporting to Headquarters, United States Air Force (HQ USAF).
AMC is headquartered at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Its commander is General Arthur J. Lichte, with Lieutenant General Christopher A. Kelly as Vice-commander, and Chief Master Sergeant Joseph E. Barron as Command Chief Master Sergeant.
AMC is the air force component of United States Transportation Command, and provides airlift, special missions, aerial refueling, and aeromedical evacuation for U.S. troops.
