Túrin Turambar is a fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium. First introduced in The Silmarillion, he becomes the primary protagonist and a tragic hero (or anti-hero) of The Children of Húrin novel. Early versions of the relevant story and some of the later texts were published in The History of Middle-earth series and in Unfinished Tales.
