Definition of Afternoon records

Afternoon Records is an independent record label based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The label was founded by Ian Anderson in 2003, the year of his graduation from high school. The label is known for discovering young talent, although no previous or current Afternoon bands have achieved real national fame. Afternoon Records has become one of the flagship indie labels in Minneapolis, hosting much of the Twin Cities prominent indie rock scene.
